Hydro One is investing in its future workforce by providing a wide range of employment opportunities for college and university-level students. While the knowledge gained in the classroom is very important, being able to see how it is applied in the office or in the field is invaluable.
Students have a chance to work alongside engineers, technicians, and other professionals to learn the latest industry best practices and techniques. We have opportunities for students in electrical or other engineering disciplines, business and finance, and many more!
We hire students for short 4- to 8-month co-op work terms, or longer 12- to 16-month internship positions. Qualified applicants must currently be enrolled in a registered co-op course or internship program at a post-secondary level institution.

Developmental Student Positions
In addition to our co-op and internship positions, we will also hire students during the summer months (May to August) for Developmental Student Opportunities. While the work is similar to our other student positions, these jobs are intended for students who are only looking for a job over the summer months. Students do not have to be enrolled in a co-op program to apply for these jobs. Learn more about our workplace here.
