2Residential (year-round) medium density and low density customers qualify for Distribution Rate Protection, which is a cap of $39.49 on the base distribution charge. This subsidy does not apply to residential (seasonal) medium density and low density customers.

3A $60.50 credit for Rural or Remote Rate Protection has been deducted from the monthly service charge for residential (year-round) low density customers. This subsidy does not apply to residential (seasonal) low density customers.

4As directed by the Ontario Energy Board (OEB), the smart meter entity charge will be collected from residential and general service energy-billed customers on behalf of the IESO until December 31, 2027.

5A credit adjustment has been applied to urban and medium density rates and will be in effect until December 31, 2025. This credit adjustment has been applied to the distribution volume charge for low density rates and will be in effect until December 31, 2025.

6As directed by the OEB, residential distribution rates are transitioning from a blend of a fixed monthly service charge and distribution volume charge to an all-fixed monthly service charge. For urban and medium density residential customers, this transition is complete. This transition continues for residential customers with a low density and it will be completed in 2032.
