During hot summer weekdays, when air conditioners are running at their maximum, the demand for electricity is at its highest. These times are known as ‘peak demand’. If you have a central air conditioner, you can help the province to manage this peak demand by enrolling in peaksaver®.

We install a programmable thermostat that lets you control the temperature at home or from anywhere you have Internet access. peaksaver® signals the thermostat and lets your Local Electricity Distribution Company increase your air conditioning temperature by a maximum of 2°C for up to 4 hours, but never on weekends or holidays.
