Hydro One recognizes that to meet Ontario’s changing energy needs well into the future it’s vital to prepare and train up and coming energy professionals.
We have partnered with four Ontario Colleges — Algonquin College, Georgian College, Mohawk College, and Northern College — to educate and attract future employees.
Through the college consortium Hydro One will contribute up to $3 million to fund scholarships and bursaries to educate the next generation of energy professionals.
Hydro One is pleased to announce that we were awarded the 2008 Ontario Colleges Community/Corporate Partnership Award for our College Consortium initiative, awarded to organizations that have made an outstanding contribution to the advancement of Ontario’s college system.
