Public consultation is an integral component of the Class EA process. Hydro One provides early notification of proposed undertakings to government agencies, municipal officials, First Nations and Métis communities, potentially affected property owners and other local stakeholders, and maintains a project mailing list to keep interested parties informed and engaged throughout the study process.
To facilitate discussion with the public and to obtain input on the proposed transmission project, Hydro One plans to hold Public Information Centres (PICs) at key stage(s) of the Class EA process. A PIC will be held for this project to provide the community with opportunities to review the alternative sites and the preferred site, and discuss any issues or concerns with our project team.
The PIC was held on:
Public Information Centre
Tuesday, August 25, 2009
4:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.
Chapple Recreation Centre
140 Main Street, Barwick
