Project Selection
In our efforts to develop a comprehensive Biodiversity Initiative, Hydro One consulted with various representatives from the Ministry of Natural Resources (MNR), Conservation Authorities, Niagara Escarpment Commission, First Nations and Métis communities, stewardship councils, interest groups and municipalities. The approach to evaluating and selecting projects was a collaborative effort developed through a series of workshops.
Once the valuation system was collaboratively developed, participants were invited to submit letters of Interest proposing projects that offered the creation or enhancement of habitat within the area of the Bruce to Milton Project.
