Public Consultation
A public and stakeholder consultation process will be undertaken in order to seek local input to assist our project team in determining the preferred method for upgrading the electricity transmission facilities in this area. A public information centre is planned as a forum to seek input from local residents, businesses and stakeholders within the study area.
To facilitate discussion with the public and to obtain input on the proposed transmission project, Hydro One plans to hold Public Information Centres (PICs) at key stage(s) of the Class EA process. A PIC will be held for this project to provide the community with opportunities to review the alternative sites and the preferred site, and discuss any issues or concerns with our project team.
