We are working closely with OPG and understand that its consultation program for the Lower Mattagami River Project has included information about Hydro One’s transmission upgrade. During April 2008, OPG conducted an Open House to provide the public with information regarding its project which included discussion of Hydro One’s transmission component. Open Houses were also conducted in Kapuskasing on January 27, 2009 and Smooth Rock Falls on January 28, 2009.
Hydro One has consulted with elected officials and staff, MPP and government agencies. On February 24, 2009, Hydro One representatives met with council members from Kapuskasing and Smooth Rock Falls to provide a briefing on the project. Download a copy of the Hydro One presentation (PDF - 500 KB).
