Hydro One held a community information session at the Whitney Junior Public School on May 10th to address community concerns about the proposed main shaft location at Carstowe Road and discuss a potential alternative site at the Rosehill Pumping Station on Mt. The City of Toronto has concluded that Hydro One’s main shaft/construction staging area proposal on the south portion of the Rosehill Pumping Station is technically feasible. We are now working cooperatively with the City to address land acquisition and municipal planning issues.
