2015/2016 Transmission Revenue Requirement & Rate Application

On May 28, 2012, Hydro One Networks filed a Transmission Rate application with the Ontario Energy Board (OEB) for its 2013/2014 revenue requirement.
CDM and Compensation Benchmarking Studies Directed to be Undertaken for Future Applications
On December 23, 2010 the Ontario Energy Board (OEB) issued its Decision with Reasons on Hydro One's 2011/2012 Transmission Revenue Requirement Application. In its decision, the Board directed Hydro One to undertake two studies for future rate applications and to consult key stakeholders on the proposed scope and methodology for these studies. The first study deals with devising means of measuring the expected impacts of conservation and demand management (CDM) programs promulgated by the OPA. The second study is intended to update a compensation benchmarking study previously conducted by Mercer to compare Hydro One's compensation costs to those of other regulated transmission and/or distribution utilities in North America. In response to this directive, Hydro One held a Stakeholder Consultation session on February 10, 2011 and May 30, 2011.

On September 30, 2008, Hydro One Networks filed a Transmission Rate application with the Ontario Energy Board (OEB) for its 2009-2010 revenue requirement. On September 4, 2009, Hydro One Networks filed Supplementary Evidence in Support of Capital Projects.
On September 12, 2006, Hydro One Networks filed its Application and Pre-filed Evidence with the Ontario Energy Board (OEB) in support of a proposed transmission revenue requirement for 2007 and 2008. An adjustment mechanism to be used for the derivation of the transmission revenue requirement for 2009 and 2010 was incorporated.
