Archives Hydro One Releases 10-Year Plan for Transmission System Toronto, March 2, 2004 - Hydro One has released its
10-year plan, Transmission Solutions, 2004-2013, outlining new
facilities and reinforcements required to ensure the safe, reliable delivery
of electricity in Ontario well into the future. "A robust transmission grid is a critical link in the electricity supply chain," says Parkinson. "Ontario needs an affordable and reliable supply of electricity to sustain economic growth and remain competitive." "Hydro One's initiative lays the framework for constructive discussions. Our members are pleased to have a voice in planning for future transmission developments", says Ken Quesnelle, Chair, Electricity Distributors Association that represents local distribution companies across the province. "We welcome this initiative and are pleased that Hydro One is working
