We're committed to helping businesses grow by showing them ways to save energy.

Formet Industries (a division of Magna) is an automotive parts manufacturer located in St. Thomas, Ontario. They took part in the Save on Energy Retrofit program which provides financial incentives to encourage businesses and industries of all types to better manage their electricity use.

Through the program, Formet Industries was able to upgrade their lighting to LEDs and invest in other equipment to help them create efficiencies and improve their production time.

Because of their demonstrated leadership in energy conservation, we presented Formet with an Energy Innovator plaque for their efforts towards creating a more sustainable Ontario.

Project Overview:
Project cost: $802,670
Demand savings: 241 kW
Forecasted energy savings: 0.8 GWh
Incentive received: $193,000
Save on Energy is powered by the Independent Electricity System Operator and brought to you by Hydro One.
