“I wanted to compliment the crew who worked on our street this past summer and fall in Amherstburg, Essex County.


When we received a notice that work would be conducted over the summer on a property we border on two sides, we were concerned about how that would affect our family, and most importantly, our young son.

Marylena, Manager, Special Projects, was courteous, as well as open and honest about the work that had to be done. The crew — Andrew, sub-foreperson, along with Ron, Vince, and Jerry, who are all labourers — were very friendly with our son and even gave him his very own Hydro One safety vest which he wore all the time.

The crew went out of their way to be considerate, and Andrew would come over and brief us on their progress. A member of the crew always walked to the road whenever I had to leave my house in order to make sure I was able to pull out of my driveway safely.

They were the best neighbours we ever had."
