On-going construction
As a part of the project we are installing two new underground 230 kV transmission line
cables.
This project will include closing roads and lanes as the crew will need to excavate and
trench
along the route path for initial equipment installation. The timeframes below are based on
our
current knowledge of the project and site working conditions.
Final construction activities, including restoration of the roads, curbs, and sidewalks will take
place on along the project route from mid-May intermittently to the end of October. During this
time, motorist can expect small single lane closures from 7:30 a.m. – 6:30 p.m., Monday to
Friday.
