Region O​verview

The geographical area of the North/East of Sudbury Region is the area roughly bordered by Moosonee on the N​orth, Hearst on the North-West, Ferris South, and Kirkland Lake on the East.

Current Status

The second Regional Planning cycle for this region was completed with publishing of the RIP report in November 2023. It is expected that the Third Regional Planning cycle will be initiated in 2026 or earlier with the completion of the Needs Assessment report.
