Employees' and Pensioners' Charity Trust Campaign
Our successful annual campaign encourages employees and pensioners to donate to their charities of choice through payroll deductions. In 2009, Hydro One employees and pensioners raised over $800,000 in support of approximately 800 charities across Ontario. Of this total, over $112,000 was raised at special events organized by employees and volunteers throughout Ontario.
Employee Volunteer Grant Program
Hydro One encourages volunteerism in the community. Employees may apply for a financial contribution on behalf of the organization with which they volunteer. If you are involved with a registered charity or children's sports organization and a Hydro One employee is one of your volunteers, encourage them to apply for an Employee Volunteer Grant. Applications can be found on Hydro One's Intranet, called Plugin.
