Project Overview

Over the next several years, Hydro One and Toronto Hydro are required to replace and relocate aging infrastructure and facilities at Bridgman Transmission Station (TS). This important work will ensure aging infrastructure is replaced before reaching end of life, and will ensure a continued supply of electricity to the City of Toronto, and Toronto Hydro. As construction progresses, we will continue to provide updates on what you can expect.

As part of this work, Hydro One crews will replace and re-locate four transformers and associated equipment within station property, and install two new noise walls on the existing station property along parts of Davenport Road and Huron Street to reduce the noise levels emitted during regular station operations. Please view the narrated presentation below to learn more about the work required, and the options available for the noise wall designs on Davenport Road. We welcome your feedback.

We welcome your feedback on the three design features of the noise walls by March 31. Please share your feedback by contacting Hydro One’s Community Relations team at 1-877-345-6799 or Community.Relations@HydroOne.com.
