Hydro One Networks Inc. (Hydro One) has initiated a Class Environmental Assessment (EA) to refurbish approximately 90 kilometres of existing 115 kilovolt (kV) transmission line (Circuit D6) and replace approximately 400 wood pole structures between Des Joachims Transformer Station (TS) and Pembroke TS. This section of transmission line spans across the towns of Laurentian Hills, Deep River, Petawawa, and the Township of Laurentian Valley in the County of Renfrew.

Work will be done primarily with equipment such as bucket trucks, all-terrain vehicles and heavy machinery, with some material flown into the work sites by helicopter.
