With over 150,000 circuit kilometres of power lines across Ontario, our forestry crews keep trees and other vegetation safe distances away from our equipment, to help deliver safe and reliable power to customers across the province.

Gary, a resident in the Killaloe area, met our crews who were completing this type of work last fall and later wrote to Hydro One:


Dear Hydro One,

Just wanted to say how pleased I am with the recent forestry work done in our area.

Michael and his crew out of the Barry’s Bay office did a great job cutting and chipping everything as they went.

I am relieved knowing the work these guys did will help prevent the frequent unplanned power outages that we have been experiencing.

Good feelings from this customer of Hydro One that I am being looked after.
