Region Overview

The Greater Bruce/Huron area is located to the west of the greater Toronto area in southwestern Ontario. The region includes the municipalities of Arran–Elderslie, Brockton, Kincardine, Northern Bruce Peninsula, and South Bruce. It also includes the township of Huron-Kinloss.

Current Status

The second Regional Planning cycle for this region was completed with publishing of RIP report in April 2022. It is expected that the Third Regional Planning cycle will be initiated in 2025 or earlier with the completion of the Needs Assessment report.
