Region Overview

The Greater Bruce/Huron area is located to the west of the greater Toronto area in southwestern Ontario. The region includes the municipalities of Arran–Elderslie, Brockton, Kincardine, Northern Bruce Peninsula, and South Bruce. It also includes the township of Huron-Kinloss.

Current Status

The third regional planning cycle for this region was kicked off in May 2024 beginning with the Needs Assessment (NA). The NA report for this region was completed in September 2024. It identified the needs in the region and recommended that some of the needs require further regional coordination, which will be reviewed during the scoping assessment phase.​
