Hydro One’s Tree and Vegetation Maintenance

YOU'RE INVITED TO A VIRTUAL MEETING ON OCTOBER 14, 2021

Hydro One is working in your community to ensure a safe and continued supply of power to the City of Toronto. At the virtual meeting on October 14, 2021 we will share a presentation on Hydro One’s approach to vegetation maintenance, and what to expect in the coming months. The presentation will be followed by a question and answer period with the team.

To keep the power on, our crews need to make sure a safe distance exists between power lines, trees and other vegetation as shown on the map above. This important work keeps the corridor and your backyards safe for public use and gives our crews access to the power lines for emergency repairs. As part of this project, we are looking to contribute to existing community projects to plant trees off-corridor.
