We want to hear from you!

Public consultation is an integral component of the Class Environmental Assessment process. We provide notification of proposed undertakings to the government agencies, municipal officials, First Nations and Métis communities, potentially affected property owners, and other local stakeholders, and we maintain a project contact list to keep interested parties informed and engaged throughout the study process.

Pre-construction public information centres and corridor walk

Following completion of a Class Environmental Assessment and public consultation process in spring 2017, Hydro One is preparing for the construction to upgrade the transmission line between Overbrook Transformer Station and Balena Park. Two pre-construction public information centres (PICs) were held on July 17 and 18, 2017 to share information about the project schedule, construction activities and methods, and to answer any questions.
