Energy conservation programs in Ontario have changed. As of April 1, 2019, the Independent Electricity System Operator (IESO) is delivering certain conservation programs directly to customers. Some programs have ended while existing applications, currently in progress, continue with Hydro One. Thank you to all our business customers for doing their part.

Retrofit

Any Retrofit applications submitted to Hydro One before April 1, 2019 and pre-approved before May 1, 2019 will continue to be managed by Hydro One. Any applications that do not receive pre-approval before May 1 will be transferred to the Independent Electricity Systems Operator (IESO). Looking for custom and prescriptive worksheets, participant agreement, eligibility measures etc.? The IESO has launched a new Save On Energy Retrofit Portal. Process & Systems Upgrades (PSU)

Industrial customers who pre-submitted applications prior to April 1, 2019 will continue to work with Hydro One on existing projects. For new applications, please contact ProcessAndSystemsUpgrades@IESO.ca. For questions on your current application, contact your local Commercial Account Manager or contact Hydro One at 1-866-650-4709.

Energy Manager

Effective April 1, 2019, the IESO will manage the Energy Manager program. Existing Energy Managers will be transferred. For existing Energy Managers with questions contact your local Commercial Account Manager (CAM) or EnergyManagers@IESO.ca.

High Performance New Construction (HPNC)

Effective April 1, 2019 this program has ended. New applications are no longer being accepted. For commercial builders with applications in progress - if you have questions please call 647- 847-4003.

New Home Construction

This program is no longer accepting new applications. Home builders that pre-applied by December 19, 2018 have until Dec 31, 2020 to build subdivisions. For builders in progress with applications that have questions, please contact RNC.Support@HydroOne.com.

Small Business Lighting

Effective April 1, 2019, the Small Business Lighting (SBL) program will be delivered by the IESO. If you have already participated in the Small Business Lighting program and have questions or concerns about the equipment installed, please call 1-866-932-8283. For new applications, contact them at SmallBusinessLighting@ieso.ca or toll-free at 1-866-932-8283. For those in progress, for questions on the status of your application, call 1-866-932-8283.
