There has been no downside to
enrolling (in myEnergy Rewards) and we don't even notice the minor adjustments to our
thermostat. As well, knowing that if we choose to change the settings we can, made enrolling an
easy decision!
When I first herd about the program,
I was actually excited and motivated to become more energy efficient within my home. By adding a
smart thermostat and joining the Hydro One myEnergy Rewards program, I know first hand
that I have saved financially by using less energy and being less of an impact on our energy
system.

with a new thermostat, which allowed me to control the temperature when I am away from home. The

energy use, your baseboard thermostat is adjusted a few degrees. As a Hydro One customer, you
are always in control - You have the choice and flexibility to opt out of scheduled program
events at any time.
Electric vehicles (EV) and chargers
Get rewarded for charging smart
Enrol your electric vehicle and charger and receive a $50 sign-up reward, plus, up to an additional $60 annually when you participate in scheduled high
energy demand events.
Your electric vehicle charging hours will be slightly
shifted when energy demand is at its highest. You have the choice and flexibility to opt out of
scheduled program events at any time.
