Hydro One applies to the Ontario Energy Board (OEB) for approval of transmission and distribution rates for customers being served by all of our subsidiary companies, as well as for regulatory approval on major infrastructure upgrade and improvement projects in communities across the Province.

The cost of delivery

Our delivery rates cover the cost of transporting and distributing electricity across the province. These costs include keeping the system safe and reliable, restoring power, transmitting and distributing electricity and providing fast and flexible customer service. Hydro One received approval from the Ontario Energy Board (OEB) to update delivery rates, effective January 1, 2026.
