Our meters are tested for accuracy and certified to be safe for you and your loved ones.
We use the latest technology and the province's advanced metering telecommunications network to transmit your electricity data.
If your meter is not connected to the network, or is a solid state meter with dials, you can read it and submit the reading to us.
Depending on your type of service, you may have a different type of meter installed. Different metering configurations are used to measure electrical properties such as how much energy you use, when you use it, your peak power requirements and generation of power.
There are two types of meter reading:
Automated — It’s a smart meter’s job to communicate and enable automated meter reads.
Conventional — When a meter is not communicating or is a solid state model with dials, we manually read it the old fashioned way.
